Tina and John Gianfagna, President and Vice-President of The Creating Hope Foundation are inspiring. They keep alive the loving memory of their daughter, Jeanette, founder of Creating Hope, every time they set up their watercolor supplies in the Simon Cancer Center. Steadfast, they wait for people living with cancer, like their daughter, to come by. With genuine and gracious spirits, they invite them to make a watercolor bookmark. “Because art soothes the soul”, they say. “It helped our daughter.” I will continue to seek finding so I can stand alongside them in our dream to inspire people living with illness to engage in the arts as a way to find insights and healing.
